Partnerships between Local Businesses and Dairy Industries in Eau Claire, Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Farm Center is devoted to helping the agricultural sector flourish and prosper. It works in collaboration with industry groups, government entities, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to provide information and support to farmers and their families. Eau Claire, a regional medical center in west-central Wisconsin, is home to three full-service hospitals and several smaller medical facilities and clinics. The city is also a major regional center for healthcare, retail, education, manufacturing, and technology.

The Eau Claire Area School District, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and the Chippewa Valley Technical School are some of the major employers in the sector. Additionally, Eau Claire is a regional retail center and the base for the corporate operations and distribution of one of the largest home improvement retail chains in the United States. Manufacturing and technology are also important components of the city's economy. The family-owned Miron Construction Company has been in business since 1918 and is now one of the country's top construction firms and industry leaders. It has regional offices in Eau Claire, Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, Wausau (Wisconsin), and Cedar Rapids (IA).

In May 2020, with the help of Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce, Miron Construction began construction on its new regional office in Lake Hallie.
